IntroductionÂ
The market of bottled water is one of the largest in the world. Paradoxically, the consumption of water in plastic bottles is highest in countries rich in the potable tap water of excellent quality. (Fedi, La Barbera, De Jong, Rollero,2021). Plastic pollution continues to have a detrimental impact on our environment, and in order to address this problem, it is essential to reduce the amount of plastic waste generated at individual, community, and global levels. (Malik, Rathod, Vujicic, Dhanvanthry, Wu, 2023). Students from the environmental Engineering study program more understand about how important to help environment with using reusable bottle. The students know what tumbler is and know what the tumbler is use for. Half of respondent bring tumbler, but some of them still buy drink that use not reusable bottle and many students always buy drink with not reusable bottle every day. They know the effect plastic landfill but there are students choose not to participate to reduce waste. (Jariyah et al., n.d.)
Discussion
Students who brings bottle is one step to reduce plastic. Not only save environment but also can manage money. But some of them still buy drink use plastic not reusable. Bring tumbler can be complicated for them, they have to get big bag to bring it, have to wash, hold it everywhere, fragile thing. This is a big problem that student knows what happen in our earth and they know one of solution. They have to get motivation and socialization about little step to save environment. Cute tumbler might be solution. Girl student in this era likes cute things. They will interest to buy and more confident to bring it everywhere.
Sometime the student still buy drink that use not reusable bottle because their water need not enough. The solution is put drink into tumbler, example buy milk tea and put into the tumbler. It can be more simply to do and reduce plastic waste.Â
The materials of reusable bottles are plastic, aluminum, glass, and stainless steel. Although some of them are fragile, at least we used to take little things to save our earth. Aluminum material can be the best solution because they are unbreakable.
Conclusion
Using tumbler is one of reduce waste. Cute tumbler is the best idea to persuade the student to use reusable tumbler. There are kind of materials, they could choose what materials are they match. These is step to save earth.
