It’s a common desire for every mankind to live in a prosperous and sufficient life. What is prosperous and sufficient life? There are so many answers for that question, depend on the person whom we ask. One of those answer is when an individual could afford their everyday needs by having a decent job. But in these modern age, there are so many people live in poverty and terrible economic conditions.
Poverty is one of the biggest social issues in this modern world, and is the main cause for another crime and occurance. Poverty only cause negative effects in society. Poverty which often or always lead to hunger is forcing its victim to steal or do violence to survived. Another occurance that lead by poverty is death, prostitution, murder, or even abduction.
As one of the biggest social issues, poverty is mostly caused by:

But most of all, poverty is cause by:

People tend to become pessimistic when they fail, they will underestimate their potential and doubt their desire to try for the better. The external factor that caused the poverty is corruption or some rich people that exploit the poor for their own good. Even so there are lots of people that trying to help other people out of poverty. not only because they’re kind, it’s because they want to make a better condition of the society that will help their country to improves. That is why some people establish a small organization or even a big one to help people in poverty. Just with that small act, it could persuade other people to do the same and even extend their group to become more developed.
There are a lot of misunderstanding to help other people out of poverty like charity, doing only charity is more likely to make the poor become spoiled. Benjamin Franklin (one of the Founding Fathers of the United States) once said “I am for doing good to the poor, but i differ in opinion about the means. I think the best way of doing good to the poor is not making them easy in poverty, but leading or driving them out of it.”. Which mean, to help the poor, we have to make them independent and ambitious, not by spoiling them. That is why there are somemore appropriate way to help people in poverty like giving them the knowledge of entreprenuership and educate them.

Climbing out of poverty by your own efforts that is something on which to pride yourself, but poverty itself is romanticized by fools.” by J.K.Rowling the author of “Harry Potter”. Therefore, the conclusion is, poverty put an individual to a life-threatening state where every choice could be a life and death matters, but most of the times, human choose the wrong way to survive.
