Solo, Indonesia-- A unique painting workshop is held by MBKM Simpul Seni from Fine Arts Major, UNS, has captured the attention of art enthusiasts. Held at Solo Art Market Pedestrian in Keprabon, the workshop offers participants the chance to transform unused CDs into vibrant works of art, blending sustainability with artistic expression. Â
Participants are guided through various painting techniques, from abstract designs to intricate patterns, using special paints and tools designed for the glossy CD surface. The results are stunning decorative items that participants can take home or even use as gifts. Â
"I never thought an old CD could look this amazing," said Salsa (22), one of the participants. "It's a fun way to recycle and learn a new skill at the same time."
