The Impact of the Israel-Hamas Conflict to Palestinian Side

On Saturday, October 7, 2023, Hamas launched their first attack on Israel, marking the beginning of the conflict. After being attacked by Hamas, Israel declared war on Hamas and began striking Gaza. That's when the Israel-Hamas war started. After a prolonged war, Palestine has suffered significant damage and losses. The Gaza Strip is destroyed and uninhabitable, with many buildings damaged by Israeli missiles. The remaining structures are in darkness because Israel cut off the electricity supply. 

Due to the ongoing war, many Palestinian civilians, including innocent children, have become victims, leading to a humanitarian crisis in Gaza. Up to now, the UN Security Council has attempted ceasefire plans several times, but they have not reached an agreement to implement one. In short, if the Israel-Hamas conflict can be temporarily halted with a ceasefire, the losses, damages, and the humanitarian crisis in Palestine resulting from the Israel-Hamas war can be minimized.
