People might have common thought that great pictures should be made by expensive and big DSLR type of camera. Well, it's true but it doesn't have to be always that way. Camera is only a tool. Behind great photographs there are a pair of good eye and great ideas. I explored my previous mobile phone, BlackBerry Curve 8900 Javelin, and made great pictures with it, "Motret dengan Ponsel: BlackBerry Curve 8900 Javelin". I loved it, good quality of camera in a mobile phone. But then I got myself BlackBerry Bold 9700 Onyx to replace it. I thought it might have better quality camera, and I'm right. There were so much fun I had when shooting around with this mobile phone. I left my pocket camera which used to accompany me wherever I go. You may leave home without your pocket camera. But almost nobody would leave home without mobile phone. It's easier to bring only one gadget instead of two, isn't it? Pictures attached here didn't go through any single digital editing. I only resized them down. Hopefully they would make you witness the strengths and weaknesses of camera in BlackBerry Bold 9700 Onyx. My tip: let your eyes and mind concentrate on the photo subjects. Leave technical things to the ease of use and compactness of camera in mobile phone. On our way to parking lot, we passed through this colorful wall and our car pulled over right away. It was clear blue sky and almost noon. Technically, no important issue on getting pretty and neat picture. The only thing matters here is diagonal composition, which makes the picture appears in dynamic visualization. Got my bag out from my room, took out the room key and I realized that it was on the right position of light fall. The idea is simple, I want to symbolize my life as a traveler with bag and an alley in hotel. Technically, I just only needed to focus the camera correctly with pressing the camera button halfway down until green box appears then push it all the way down. Instead of shooting in eye-level angle of view, shoot down or shoot up. I was taking a ciggy-break with a friend in Ayala Center, a complex of shopping centers in Makati, Manila, Philippines. When looking up, I noticed the lines of these buildings might be arranged into an eye-catching composition. Image in reflective surface would help a lot to show your idea in different and creative way. It was a bright afternoon in Ayala Center, Makati, Manila, Philippines and the glass was clean. I noticed these colorful merchandise in cashier desk of a coffee shop in Glorietta 5 shopping arcade, Ayala Center, Makati, Manila, Philippines. A colorful list of menu and price just make itself a good match.
