Pakisjajar Village, Pakis Subdistrict, Malang Regency provided assistance in providing material on branding of MSME partner products, spinach chips and Moringa leaves. In its development, the KKN participants carried out developments starting from making branding/logos which previously did not exist in the MSME products of spinach chips and Moringa leaves.
Malang Regency (25/06) – Participants of the Regular KKN Malang State University (UM) located in"Branding or logo is a form of process of assigning value to an MSME product which will later be embedded in the minds of consumers," said Yulietha Eka Yanti, one of the participants of the Regular KKN in Pakisjajar Village.
Before carrying out efforts to develop MSME product branding, the Pakisjajar Village Community Service Team coordinated first with the partners of the MSME owners of spinach and Moringa chips. Coordination between the regular community service team and MSME owners aims to ensure that the development program runs well and provides education about the importance of branding a product to increase its selling value.
“I welcome the good intentions of students in developing this spinach and moringa leaf chips product. I would like to thank my younger students for helping in the development of this MSME.” Said Siti Fatlukha. One of the MSME product owners of spinach and Moringa leaf chips in Pakisjajar village.
The use of branding as a marketing medium is very effective and many MSMEs have used this method. The Malang State University Regular Community Service Team hopes that the branding of MSME products can increase the selling value of MSME products and increase the selling value of the product.
