Lily and the Stray Cat

One sunny afternoon, a little girl named Lily was playing in her garden. She loved running around and picking flowers. But on this day, something caught her attention. A small, gray cat was hiding under a bush near the fence. The cat looked scared and dirty, like it had been lost for a long time. Lily slowly walked toward the cat, trying not to scare it. She knelt down and spoke softly, "Hi, kitty. Are you lost?" The cat looked up at her with big, green eyes, but didn't move.
