Global Jaya International School – The 2011 Book Week is Here!

Librarians plan activities, offer competitions and invite guests to tell stories related to a theme to highlight the importance of reading.

As a school emphasizing the importance of good reading habits as part of knowledge cultivation, Global Jaya International School (GJIS) arranges this event annually; this year’s theme is “One World, Many Stories.” GJIS will celebrate Book Week from the 26 to 30 September, 2011, with a story writing competition, a READathon, a Book Fair and four guest authors from Australia, The USA, The UK, via Dubai and Indonesia.
