a window to heaven, or so it seems
a portal to realms beyond our sight
where stars dance in the endless night
a canvas of colors, a painter's delight
hues of wonder, a celestial rite
clouds like cotton candy, soft and white
whisper secrets to the moon's soft light
as day turns to night, and shadows grow long
the window in heaven sings a silent song
a sanctuary for dreams, where hearts belong
in the embrace of stars, where we all throng
beneath the canopy of the cosmic sea
a window in heaven, for you and me
a reminder of beauty, of what can be
in this world of wonders, wild and free
so, gaze upon the heavens, take it all in
let the mysteries of the universe begin
for in that window to heaven, we begin to spin
a tale of endless wonder, from where we begin
