Revised Title: "Helping Everyone Learn" As a learning media,
"helping everyone learn” in
iamlearner.com means that everyone is enabled to learn here. “
Everyone” can be the learner of primary school, secondary school, graduate degree, postgraduate degree, vocational education, non formal/informal education; it can be the teacher or parent, institution as well as other non specified learners.
What to do first is just “a simple registration” In the registration page, you need to fill certain form mentioning your purposes of study and your ideals. After the registration, everyone is about to manage their own “
Learning Page (LP)”
Learning Page is basically facilitating the learner to be “
a self directed learner“, and to share “
the learning experiences” with others.
Learning Experience is an experience which is intentionally shared with other learners, it can be equipped with picture/photo or audio video. Other learners then are able to put comments and rating* on that learning experience (including the teacher or facilitator). Here everything is set in such a way to really place the learner on its center position (learner-centered). Therefore, by applying this tool on a daily basis learning, what the teacher should do is simply monitoring on the rating (qualitative-quantitative) and comments of certain groups of learners.
iamlearner.com is equipped accordingly with several learning features in order to enable the learner to befriend with other learners, to manage certain group, and to interractively communicate with other learners.
ATTENTION, APPLY THIS ANDRAGOGY PRINCIPLES! For all learners, put our best effort to apply the following Andragogy Principles:
Decide our own needs. Prior to all activities, question our self on “why” we want to learn, and then “how” we can learn effectively.
Be self directed, and be responsible. Self-directed means we are on our own way of learning, so be responsible also of all our published pages as well as our habits or activities, otherwise we need to be reoriented or reconditioned.
Get experienced. Bring all of our experience, flow it out and don’t be some “dependent” learner.
Be ready to learn. Be ready or be aware with every real-life situation around us.
Be problem (life) centered. Start from the problem to make everything more alive.
Be highly motivated. Manage our self well since the most powerful motivator is within our self (inner/internal).
