IT-BASED SURVEILLANCE POLICY This policy is based on an official letter from Director General of Immigration Indonesia, number IMI-0323.UM.01.01 dated 3 March 2015. Immigration Information System (SIMKIM) is well set up to support this policy in term of passenger’s data which is related with the Border Control Management (BCM) system and Enhanced Cekal System (ECS)/ alert/prohibited person list. All Immigration Checkpoints across Indonesia are integrated and connected with the system called BCM, including the targeted person by Interpol, and also Passengers Analysis Unit (PAU) – A pre-arrival passenger’s data analysis system.
