Students became a victim of sexual harassment committed by her lecturer FS, when she wanted to guide her thesis on September 25. This is not the first case to occur at Unhas. Previously, a similar case had occurred last June at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences. This report was followed up by the task force in the form of an investigation by collecting evidence to checking surveillance cameras. This investigation must be carried out because there are no other witnesses other than the victim and the perpetrator denies all allegations given. for this criminal act can actually be forwarded to the realm of law, with a case of sexual harassment which can involve Article 289 of the old Criminal Code which reads: “Any person who by force or threat of force forces a person to commit or allows an obscene act to be committed, shall, being guilty of an act offensive to the honor of decency, be punished by a maximum imprisonment of nine years.”
