After the opening of the car-free nights by the Regent of Purwakarta Ambu Anne, the culinary center for residents and tourists hunting for culinary delights on weekends is awaited by many people. Including the reopening of the Sri Baduga Fountain, which tourists highly await.
After being closed for a long time, the food stands will finally reopen every 17.00 WIB until the evening along Jl. KK Singawinata. Before the Regent of Purwakarta opened the car-free nights, the culinary scene was getting busier when the video of the food stand was uploaded to social media. The opening of the Car-free night also commemorates the anniversary of Purwakarta Regency.
Apart from having a food stand on the car-free night, there is also an art performance that has not been performed for a long time due to being hit by Covid-19. It is hoped that with the reopening of Car free nights or culinary tours, people can vacation with their families. It will become an economic revival, especially for MSMEs and tourism in Purwakarta.
Maulida, a resident of Purwakarta, said that the reopening of culinary tourism made Purwakarta come alive again.
"Alhamdulillah, after two years of holidays, culinary tourism is back to give color to the city of Purwakarta."
Maulida admitted that she had not been anywhere for a long time.
"The last time I visited this culinary tour was in early 2019 before this pandemic came," said Maulida.
