Good News for AFC: KPSI Has Prepared to Join The Oceania Zone

KPSI has officially set the national team for Oceania zone competition. The appointment of Mr. Alfred Riedl as the National Team Coach is the start for serious decision to leave the international competition in Asia region. The willingness to join the Oceania region has been clearly stated long before AFC trying to resolve the problem within Indonesian football federation. It was Tony A., a core member of KPSI that set the idea in an interview with Tempo. The full appointment for the national team on the 5th September 2012 will be a long term attempt since the team has not accept full recognition from the OFC. There is no confirmed match for KPSI National Team on 2012 Oceania International Competition. It seems that KPSI is fully bet on the chance that the National Team will compete internationally on 2013.

The team that is announced on the 5th September 2012 is consisting of ISL player. It is such a misfortune that ISL actually is a breakaway league. Such issue has made most of the fans of Indonesia National team into a deep confusion. It has been a widespread knowledge that FIFA actually has no tolerance for any Breakaway League player to have the right to join the national team. Even the KPSI coach, Mr. Alfred Riedl also states the concerned for such issue. He is unsure about the fate for the KPSI National Team.

It will be months for 2013, but KPSI National team serious preparation will be a good sign for Indonesia Football. The latest development is a proof that AFC should solely support PSSI since KPSI has fully concentrates the goal in Oceania region. But still, it is OFC that will decide whether the KPSI national team will have the place for the next 2013 Oceania zone international competition.

BERITA BAGUS BUAT AFC: KPSI UDAH SIAP IKUT ZONA OCEANIA

KPSI secara resmi sudah menyiapkan timnas untuk bertanding di kompetisi zona Oceania. Penunjukan Alfred Riedl sebagai pelatih timnas adalah awal serius untuk menginggalkan kompetisi internasional di kawasan Asia. Keinginan untuk ikut dalam zona Oceania sebenarnya sudah lama dinyatakan jauh sebelum AFC mencoba menyelesaikan kisruh di federasi sepakbola Indonesia. Adalah Tony A., seorang petinggi KPSI yang menyatakan ide ini saat wawancara dengan Tempo. Penunjukan penuh untuk timnas pada 5  september 2012  ini, nampaknya akan jadi upaya jangka panjang mengingat tim ini belum sepenuhnya mendapat pengakuan dari OFC. Tak ada pertandingan yang sudah dipastikan untuk timnas KPSI pada kompetisi zona Oceania 2012.  KPSI sepertinya bertaruh bahwa timnas ini nantinya baru bisa bertanding secara internasional pada 2013.

Tim yang diumumkan pada 5 september 2012 ini terdiri dari pemain ISL. Sayangnya ISL adalah liga ilegal. Masalah ini sudah membuat banyak pendukung timnas Indonesia bingung. Sudah jadi pengetahuan umum bahwa FIFA tak punya toleransi  buat pemain liga illegal untuk masuk ke dalam timnas.  Bahkan pelatih KPSI, Alfred Riedl menyatakan kekhawatirannya terkait dengan masalah ini. Dia tidak yakin mengenai nasib timnas KPSI.

2013 masih lama, tapi persiapan serius timnas KPSI akan menjadi berita bagus untuk sepakbola Indonesia. Perkembangan terakhir ini adalah bukti bahwa AFC harus mendukung PSSI karena KPSI sudah memantapkan tujuan untuk berkompetisi di zona Oceania. Namun, tetap saja OFC yang nanti memutuskan apakah timnas KPSI punya tempat di kompetisi internasional 2013 di zona Oceania.
