Roads anywhere in Indonesia without a doubt have a speed limit that serves to protect. Speed itself does not kill. It’s the momentary change of speed delivering large amounts of force in a fraction of a second. Speed limits and driving at a moderate rate drastically decreases the chance of a disaster. It also gives the driver more time to react to an obstacle.
