Feelings and how Being Happy affects our Lives

How are you feeling today? I’m having the time of my life. Well maybe I’m not, but you should feel so. Yes, it’s important to feel happy. It really is. Feelings affect our daily lives as we know it. And you can’t hide or run from the fact that you’re human and that you experience the same feelings everyone else has.

Be happy and stay happy. A couple days before, my mom were talking about being happy and how we can maintain being happy because being happy is everything if you want an easy life. So I was thinking about being happy, and then it hit me. But first, we need to know what makes us sad and what drains us from our happiness?

Being sad prevents us from being happy, obviously. And you and me would rather be happy than sad in a dull corner thinking about ‘Oh, I shouldn’t have done this.’ Or ‘I fully regret making this decision.’ It’s the bad choices that we make that bring us down, and sometimes it isn’t even our choices that bring us down. Other people can bring suck you from your happiness in hours, minutes, seconds.

These are life problems that happen to everyone. And I mean everyone, even animals, bacteria, plants (although plants wouldn’t mind. They don’t have brains, and so do bacteria). But it doesn’t matter what problems life gives you. Life is unfair to everyone, so that makes it fair. And it’s not how big the problem is, it’s how we react to a problem. Because our reaction is our opinions is our feelings is what brings us down.

If your life problem is afraid of dying, then it is considered a real problem, your problem that it. We tend to think about problems a bit too much. You think about it every day and every night. Could it be that in the mid of the night, you died in your sleep? You still have a lot of things you wanted to do before you died, and so on and so on. But dying isn’t a problem to everyone. I’m serious. Someone that has been tortured all his life might think that dying would be better than suffering continuously; therefore ignoring the fact that dying is a problem.

And if you haven’t been suffering all your life, remember what Dumbledore once said. ‘Life after death, is but a new adventure’.

The human mind is full of creativity. Just take a glance at someone having life problems. They stress out real bad. ‘Oh, what if this happened if I haven’t done this?’ ‘But what if he does this, thus leading to this.’ ‘If I haven’t done this, what would happen to this’ and so on. They are using their own creativity to imagine up possibilities that might not even happen if they stopped worrying about it. This happens to everyone by the way. The only thing you can do is to try and slide away from the problems. Don’t think about them. Let them be. Use your creativity to focus on something more important that just worrying.

Even animals experience life problems just so you know. Lack of food can make lions go mad or a giraffe that just lost its cub. Animals have feelings too you know. Monkeys and elephants tend to stay close to their already dead relatives, paying their respect (even though they don’t have the ability to bury them. But it’s still cool!). This just goes to show that you’re not the only one experiencing problems right now. And the people you look up to, that you think are strong and brave, they have faced their own problems and overcome them. Now it’s your turn to do the same. Overcome the fear in you. Forget about your problems and just live life, happily.
