The long wait of the Vespa community around the world has paid off. Vespa World Days 2022 has been held successfully. This event started at June 9-12, 2022 on Peninsula Island, Nusa Dua, Bali and has succeeded bring in approximately 8,500 participants from 16 countries including Indonesia. Actually, that participants not includes the various Vespa communities in Indonesia who came but not take part in the official event of Vespa Word Days 2022.Â
Vespa World Days was held in Indonesia is first time event was carried outside Europe. From CNN Indonesia, Martin Stif as an ex-former chairman of the Vespa World Club said that the implementation of Vespa World Days 2022 much better than in Europe. "I am also amazed by the very large and active Vespa community in Indonesia. In addition, the people here are also kind, open and beautiful country. So there is no reason no to held it in Indonesia" said Martin. That is what makes Indonesia able to organizer the Vespa Word Days 2022.
Previously, Vespa World Day was the largest Vespa Club event in Europe and organized by the Vespa Club Euro from 1954 to 2007. This even was a place for worldwide Vespa and scooter community to gather. But from 2006 onwards, Vespa World Club promoted all Vespa Club around the world. Until 2007, this event was changed to Vespa World Days to reflect the wider Vespa Club community.Â
