During this period, Rizky was deeply involved in the essential task of sorting and managing extensive archives, some dating back decades. The internship began with a rigorous introduction to archiving practices, including sorting through numerous documents to determine their relevance and proper classification. This foundational work laid the groundwork for more complex tasks as the internship progressed.
In the second week, Rizky tackled a substantial increase in workload by efficiently organizing and entering data into Excel, often with minimal assistance. This included collaborating with colleagues from other divisions to support a comprehensive data entry project. Despite the challenges posed by a high volume of documents and temporary staffing shortages, Rizky excelled by implementing effective work strategies and maintaining productivity.
The third week brought additional tasks involving deteriorated and moldy documents, which required meticulous handling and patience. Even with these challenges, Rizky continued to deliver high quality work, demonstrating resilience and commitment to the responsibilities assigned.
In addition to the core archiving tasks, Rizky contributed to the company's Independence Day celebrations by assisting in decorating the workplace, showing versatility and a team-oriented spirit.
The internship at BP3MI Jawa Barat not only provided Rizky with hands-on experience in archival management but also fostered skills in adaptability, teamwork, and problem-solving. This period has been instrumental in preparing Rizky for future professional endeavors.
