HIV is a dangerous infection that consists of several symptoms according to level. The first phase is often called stage 1. This phase is the lowest, where the initial HIV symptoms are still not felt and are not yet categorized as AIDS. This phase is characterized by swollen lymph nodes in several parts of the body, such as the armpits, neck, and groin. The next phase is referred to as Stage 2. In this phase, the body's immune system begins to decline and symptoms begin to appear, such as weight loss, respiratory tract infections, itching on the skin, fungal infections on the nails and fingers, and recurring canker sores on the tips of the lips. The third phase is known as Stage 3. In this phase, typical symptoms of primary infection begin to appear, which can indicate a diagnosis of HIV/AIDS infection. Symptoms include chronic diarrhea lasting more than a month without a clear cause, weight loss, fever disappearing, fungal infections in the mouth, pulmonary tuberculosis, acute mouth inflammation, gingivitis, gum infection (periodontitis), as well as a decrease in red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets. The last is the fourth phase, or stage 4. This phase is characterized by swollen lymph glands throughout the body, and sufferers can feel several symptoms of opportunistic infections, which are infections of a weak immune system. In short, HIV sufferers must immediately receive special treatment from the first stage so that the virus does not develop into AIDS, which is the final stage of HIV infection, and the body is no longer able to fight the infection it causes.
