Some Apple supporters (and executives) are under the illusion that the Apple Maps app will magically get better as more people use it. Don't hold your breath. That won't happen until Apple puts 100s of StreetView-like cars on the road and launches a MapMaker-like app everywhere their data is lacking. GPS tracks from users alone will not do it.
