Is English useful??

Is English useful for our life? Yes or no?  Why should we learn English? English is hard, and wasting time. Why should we learn English, Language will always change from time to time. If we learn a language it will always change even when the language changes then there will be old language and vocabulary that will be lost It will happen from time to time continuously.But should we resign ourselves to stupidity and allow our lives to always be in ignorance? It count on yourself. Learning English not always about language but if  you have skill English you can get improve your others skill in Another thing.
