Mbok Mar, we called her, the greatest friend in leadership program batch 21. Today, she spends her time in papua as a doctor. I wrote this article to give her high respect even pray to God that she will success in her examination before she enter to Gadjah Mada University (UGM).
Mbok Mar is one of awardees from Indonesia Endowment Fund for Education (LPDP) in PPDS category. PPDS is special scholarship from LPDP which is opening chance for all doctors/health experts in Indonesia to pursue their study in higher lever such as specialist or others. Beside her, other friend whom I know similar with her are Ibu Erika, Mas Angga, Mas Drajat, Mbak Rany, Mbak Ave, and dr Heru. they are the first generation of PPDS scholarship. Henceforth, bright future of our health society will comes.
Mbok Mar, in my eyes, like great leader even though she looks like funny. Every conversation would added by joke, laugh, and any humorous story. She was always able to bring us in interested situations. Like our spectacular art performance, known as Ludruk PK21. She designed it by invite all talented and gave them good character so that’s why Ludruk PK21 became the great closing on Leadership program batch 21. As a result, Mr eko, director of LPDP, invited us to perform in LPDPEdufair 2015 several day ago.
Mbok Mar is great motivator. She gave us good suggestion based on her experience. One quote that I wouldn’t forget is “saling mendoakanlah satu sama lain, sebanyak-banyaknya, karena kita tidak tahu dari lisan siapakah doa itu akan dikabulkan” (praying to God for your friends each other, as much as you can, because you never know when god answer yours). She is always courage us to reach our dream, so that’s why we call her Mbok (mom), because she is like our mother.
