Scholastic Period

The scholastic era took place in the Middle Ages, during which time many people spread their knowledge. The meaning of scholasticism itself means school, or it can also be interpreted that at that time scholasticism had the meaning of teaching, a place to study, get lessons and so on. So it can be obtained that scholasticism is a period where it occurs during the middle of the education period with the basic knowledge or education obtained by way of school. Or obtained by being taught by teachers or science experts. What happened during the scholastic era itself was building many buildings at that time in order to serve as a forum to gain knowledge, and the building was called a school from the mid-philosophical period to the modern era.

As has already been explained, Philosophy in the scholastic era was a philosophy in the middle period where the direction of thinking had begun to differ from the philosophical thinking of the ancients. This middle philosophy describes a new era once in a new nation, Western Europe. This scholastic era was characterized by religion because it was part of a religious culture.
