The moon cast its silver light
With beams so bright and luminous
It doth dispel the shadows thus
It dances on the darkened trees
And creeps into the silent seas
And every object, far and near
It touches with its magic sphere
It's been like a dream, a fairy tale
A beacon shining bright and pale
A symbol of eternal love
That comes to us from heaven above
And so, I bask within its glow
And let its radiance overflow
And feel its gentle, soothing spell
That keeps my heart and soul so well
