Winter is related with snow. Unfortunately in Matsuyama city, Ehime prefecture, snow falls rarely. There, you not only get to see snow, but you can also climb the mountain and enjoy a waterfall that turns into a chunk of ice in the winter. The waterfall is named Shirai no taki. Shirai no taki is located in Toon City, Ehime. From Matsuyama city, we can go by bus to Kawanouchi, then ride a taxi about 15 minutes to Shirai no taki area. Actually, we can take a bus to the area, but the bus that operates up to this area is very rare so it is more convenient by using taxi.
