I try to translate it in English so everybody can understand it well. First, I wanna say I hope this article can remind us how to act as human being. Second, I wanna say sorry if my English is not as clear as you all expected. I do really open to have some correction from u all.

I found this from Mailing List,, we can contemplated this,,

Some of the acts that we have to concern:

(1) If we drove somebody, we shall to wait until she/he actually arrive, for example we drove he/she to his/her house, we shall to wait him/her until the fence is open and get into the house. But sometimes, we just leave directly when he/she arrive.

(2) If we get into the car, a man shall please a woman to get into from the nearest side. But sometimes, a man just gets into the car directly while the woman should be in hurry to go other side.

(3) As to cross the road, a man should be on the outer side. But sometimes, a man looks like guarding by a woman.

(4) If we meet someone and we are sitting, we shall stand up before greet she/he, even more the elder one. But sometimes, we see somebody shake somebody’s hand while he/she is sitting.

(5) When we get into the elevator, people from inside shall go out first and we go inside. But sometimes, there are also infiltrate.

(6) If we open the door and we see there is somebody behind us, we shall to hold the door until he/she reaches the door. Sometimes we see somebody, who opens the door, don’t aware if there is or there isn’t somebody behind them.

(7) if we want to pass someone, we shall say “excuse me”. But now we see people just do what they wanna do without think about others.

(8) My parents often give me some complain about my friends. When my friends come to my house they don’t give some greet to my parents or pretend that my parents aren’t there. It is not only impolite, but also insolent.

There are still many many many examples of impolite act. Maybe it is not only in my culture, but also in your culture. In Indonesia, Manners is an important thing. Many people now, especially young people, just loose of the manner.
But it is difficult if we admonish or remind people about manners because many of them don’t know exactly what the manner is. If we admonish them we just called as old-fashioned person.

If you don’t mind, would you tell us some concern act from your country or your culture?
