Roadwork and Undisciplined Drivers Become The Cause of Traffic Jam

On March 3, 2023, there was asphalting on the Ambarawa ring road, or to be precise, the section to the left of Semarang to Magelang. This resulted in long traffic jams because there was only one road left in operation, so an open-and-close system was implemented. The traffic jam also triggered the emotions of the impatient drivers, who decided to turn around and take another route, namely through Pasar Ambarawa or the main road that existed before the ring road was built. The traffic jam was exacerbated because there was a car that was overtaking from the direction of Semarang even though the segment that was opened at that time was being rotated to be used from the direction of Yogyakarta, so inevitably the car had to back up and trigger emotions from other drivers so that many drivers decided to turn around and find another way.
