A graduation procession marked the beginning of a new chapter for Universitas Airlangga graduates. UNAIR Rector Prof. Dr. H Mohammad Nash SE MT Ak graduated a total of 2,747 students, with the vocational faculty leading the way with 628 graduates.
In the opening speech of the graduation procession at ACC UNAIR, UNAIR Rector Prof Dr H Mohammad Nash SE MT Ak encouraged the graduates to never stop learning. Existing knowledge will continue to evolve in response to the current conditions. In addition, it is critical to maintain a sense of humility when dealing with everything that exists. Furthermore, the 2021-2025 UNAIR Rector encouraged the graduates to maintain a positive outlook.
In addition to the 2023 graduation ceremony, Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) will hold a spectacular 69th anniversary celebration. Based on government regulation No. 57 Year 1954 which took effect on November 10, 1954, and was established in Jakarta on November 1, 1954 by President Soekarno. Which means in November UNAIR has been established for 69 years.
This year, UNAIR is planning a variety of events to commemorate the anniversary. Starting with the Rector Cup sports championship, students, educational staff, and lecturers followed. Basketball, futsal, volleyball, table tennis, chess, badminton, table tennis, and field tennis are among the sports featured in the rector cup. The dies natalis celebration began in September and will conclude with the most spectacular event, Airlangga Mencari Bakat.
Airlangga Mencari Bakat is a competition that encourages students to pursue their dreams and discover hidden talents among us. Following that, 69 performers will be chosen from among the registered participants to compete for a total prize of 69 million rupiah.
The anniversary celebrations conclude with a "Konser Bersama" of music and art. The winners of Airlangga Mencari Bakat will spectacularly perform and enliven the peak of Universitas Airlangga's anniversary.
