I remember the first time I went to the cinema to watch Twilight with some of my girl friends, it was during my first year of high school (yes, we were a teenager). And something about that movie really poked me in the heart. It was REALLY GOOD. I looooove it, love it love it love it. Just like the rest of the viewer in the theater, I cried when Edward Cullen showed up in the cafeteria, "Awwww"-ing the part when he watches Bella sleeping. The movie was like a curse! A great one!
Now why most of the people hate it? Most of the people is the men, yes, those poor souls their girlfriend forced them to watch it hoping that they'll turn to be Edward. Which is impossible, here's why:
1. Edward is a vampire. He'll live forever, he'll be handsome forever. And don't forget his superpower!
2. The Cullen family is rich as f*ck. Their house is so big, with brand new cars and awesome clothing (and anything you think money can buy)
3. Forks, the city where they shoot the movie is a very nice gloomy place. The trees, and the bushes, the flower buds, so pretty..........................and we don't live there!
Well, all I can say is Stephanie Meyer is a brilliant writer! She wrote a book and produce a movie according to what girls really want in their boyfriends. Probably she did a survey first, though - or she really has a vampire friend because all the vampire traits were so real and cool.
To resolve the conundrum, here's my answer. First, this movie is pretty cool..........for girls, and very unrealistic......for boys. It depends of who the viewer are. Me? Oh I'll rate this movie a seven-out-of-five stars!
