My friend took me here because he need "portable sewing machine' to repair his clothes. I saw an unique t'shirt with unique words " J.M.B. Janda Mulai Banyak orĀ started to many widows" , and t'shirt with "KEHED" it means like dirty word in Sundanese Language. Nasi Pecel here is very nice, because originally cooked by mbok-mbok with Javanese background who always talk javanese to every people who buy the food. I wonder with fake badminton racket with Taufik Hidayat signature here that sold for 250 k rupiahs :). And I find also fake Li Ning racket for 400k rupiahs !!!
But if you use slipper, be careful! because sometimes it will be lost. Better for jamaah to give it to slipper keepers at the first floor of the mosque.
The Imam and khatib today talk about the relative counting problems of our lives. He told as to be always prepare for the next life, because we life in the world is so short.
After praying, I witnessed a conversion process of a woman to Islam faith. She told to imam that her mother originally muslimah and her father was christian. She want to convert to Islam (her grandmother's religion) at her 17 of her age, because she interested with daily prayer of muslim and she fond of hearing Qur'an recitation. Imam guide her to recite syahadah and advice her to learn more and more about Islam, and lead the witnesses to pray for her conversion process and for her good wishes.
I remembered An Nur Mosque at Denpasar, a place I stayed at 2008, a mosque that often used for faith conversion of Indonesian. Muallaf, a called for
Responsible of at Tin Management told jama'ah that faith conversion is one of activities of this mosque.
I like the architecture of this mosque with many arabic calligraphy inside, but I still felt that the mosque management can be improved better and better. Many potencies can be developed around teh mosque especially by spirit of islamic (sharia) economic empowerment for societies and mosque management.
