Tourism Package Planning by KKN UM 2022 Students in an Effort to Empower The Edutourism Potential of Kampung Pecut

Tour Packages are a combination of component components consisting of transportation, accommodation, tourist attractions, food and beverages as well as tour guide services classified according to the number of tourists and prices that can be selected. The existence of a tour package can help tourists choose the appropriate package and also help managers of tourist attractions attract tourists to visit the tourist attractions they manage. Therefore, the Kampung Pecut from the Kemasan Village needs a tour package in order to create a tourist village that can attract tourists to visit the Kampung Pecut.

Kampung Pecut is one of 10 “Kampung Pecut” in Kediri City. Cool village itself is a creative village concept that can develop the potential that exists in the village. To realize Kampung Pecut Tourism, students of the State University of Malang KKN (Kuliah Kerja Nyata) helped develop educational tour packages. This educational tour package consists of several components taken from the potential that exists in Kampung Pecut. In accordance with the name of the package, namely the educational tour package, the Kampung Whip educational tour package contains learning about whipping culture. Starting from learning whips, whip dancing to craft making whips.

In working on the Pecut Village educational tour package, students of the State University of Malang KKN (Kuliah Kerja Nyata) were mentored by Mr. Hadi as the Head of POKDARWIS (Kelompok Sadar Wisata) in the Kemasan Village. Students and Pak Hadi discussed with each other to channel ideas for making the best educational tour packages for Kampung Pecut tourism. This educational tour package underwent several revisions from the included packages and the prices were adjusted to the existing conditions. 

It is hoped that the formation of this Kampung Pecut educational tour package will be able to further develop the existing tourism potential and be able to bring in tourists and introduce Kampung Pecut to a wider realm.
