KKN (Real Work Lectures) students at State University of Malang held a tutoring work program for elementary school students in the Kemasan Village, Kediri City. Tutoring is an additional learning activity given to students to increase knowledge. Tutoring has positive values and benefits for students.
The tutoring activity was carried out at the Kemasan Village Hall. The tutoring activities are carried out 2 times a week, namely on Thursdays and Fridays at 14.00-15.00 WIB. This tutoring is carried out before the English Massive (EMAS) activity which is a work program of the Kediri City PRODAMAS.
The material taught in this activity adjusts to the understanding and desires of students. KKN students also help to complete students' homework and give them some additional assignments to increase students' understanding. On the sidelines of this activity, KKN students provided a few educational games so that students would not feel bored while attending tutoring.
With this tutoring program, it is hoped that students will be motivated to learn and be successful in the future. This program is also one of the bridges in helping to improve the quality of education and the development of the progress of the Kemasan Village.
