Jakarta, Rajutan Aksara held the second episode of its casual talk webinar series, "Limitations Are Not Barriers to Creativity" on Saturday, April 19, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM WIB via Google Meet.

Rajutan Aksara is a digital platform that aims to improve literacy skills and offer writing therapy, specializing in short stories, serial stories, and poetry.

The literary platform successfully attracted participants both with and without disabilities from various regions to take part in the event.
The participants showed great enthusiasm throughout the session.
"This webinar aims to broaden perspectives by emphasizing that limitations are not solely sensory. They can become a driving force for creativity in writing. From those limitations can emerge outstanding works and innovative achievements, serving both as a form of self-affirmation and a potential source of income," said Rina Indrawati, founder of Rajutan Aksara.
She also expressed deep gratitude to all those who supported the event.
One of the participants, Azka Seftiadiska, shared her thoughts after attending the event.
"I really appreciate the material presented. I learned about the four personality types and discovered which one I belong to, and how that influences a person's creative process," she said.
Another participant, Ni Putu Rismayanti Yulinda, expressed similar sentiments.
"I've learned how to generate ideas from every limitation and challenge, and how to keep creating despite them," she said enthusiastically.
The keynote speaker for the webinar was Ramaditya Adikara, a visually impaired writer who has authored 18 novels.
In his presentation, Ramaditya Adikara emphasized that sensory limitations are not barriers for visually impaired individuals to become writers.
First, he highlighted the importance of documenting visual descriptions.
"As someone who is visually impaired, I don't naturally understand things like how a person looks when they are shy or hit on the head. So I take notes based on stories I hear. I've even built a visual database filled with collected visual descriptions," he explained.
Second, he stressed the habit of reading regularly.
"I try to read a novel each week to gather a wide range of visual descriptions."
Third, he discussed how personality affects creative work.
"By understanding your own personality, you can create and work according to the resources you have."
He then elaborated on the four human personality types: sanguine, choleric, melancholic, and phlegmatic.
Understanding those personalities can help writers create more diverse and believable characters in their stories.
Ramaditya concluded his presentation with an inspiring message.
"Never write or create something that fails to leave a lasting impression on your readers. A good literary work, regardless of its story, should be meaningful, guide readers in a positive way, and convey a moral message."
