Prediction of Islam in Indonesia in 2045: Realizing Indonesias Golden Era

Indonesia’s projection for Islam in 2045 shows that Islam will play a vital role in making Indonesia a golden country. Strategies and solutions are being formulated by the government and some faith-based organizations like KB PII Sumatera Barat to address challenges including environmental protection, poverty eradication, as well as improvement of education quality and access. It is anticipated that they will also act as custodians of Vision Indonesia 2045 which is formulated by the government.

Some young Muslims are also expected to contribute towards this vision through increased literacy levels, skills improvement and competition readiness while possessing criticism and tolerance skills. They are supposed to be the fulcrums of sustainable growth that the nation has always yearned for in order to achieve its grand vision.

The Strategic Role for the Ministry of Religious Affairs in Indonesia’s Golden Era 2045. For example, in the economic realm, religious affairs development can promote consciousness and entrepreneurial spirit among the believers, and actualize the ideals of progress. In education, denying the role of the Ministry of Religious Affairs is simply impossible. Religious education has firmly established its crucial significance for giving equal access to education.

Concerning infrastructure and public services, it is important that MoRA plays a part in making believers recognize why public facilities should be maintained. On diversity and harmony discussion, MoRA has an especial involvement here. Indonesia’s Golden Era considers that promoting diverse ethnicities groups’ coexistence as well as fostering harmony among their religions and cultures should be regarded as its foundation. Ashabul Kahfi said “if we go on fighting amongst ourselves we cannot achieve Indonesia’s Golden era 2045.”

By 2045, Indonesia’s Golden Era will have seen progress in various spheres of life that will necessitate continuous improvement of human resources including knowledge, technology, or morality. This improvement can be achieved through adoption of the integrated education system used at Pondok Pesantren Al-Khoirot that combines character education, religious education, general education and soft skills.

This research is aimed at finding out the appropriate contribution of young Muslims to make towards achieving Indonesia’s Golden Era in 2045; methods and tactics employed by young Muslims to realize Indonesia’s golden era in 2045. According to the Masterplan for Accelerating and Expanding the Development of the Indonesian Economy (MP3EI), literacy enhancement skills competitiveness as well as criticality and tolerance are some ways that young Muslims can help realize Indonesia’s Golden Era in 2045.

In this study, the author is interested in knowing the detailed system of education, methods, and strategies of Pondok Pesantren Al-Khoirot (PPA) Malang in realizing Indonesia’s Golden Era in 2045 by learning from “Best Practice” moral education and the Quran.
