Do you know what that westernization ?
Westernization or commonly referred to as the western culture that is a process whereby communities affected by western culture and because we can not filter out important things to be brought into our lives.
And you know, this westernization besides causing a positive impact for us, also have a negative impact. Following the positive impact of Westernization to us:
o Increase knowledge about western cultures
o In the political field, developing democratic culture
o The existence of globalization in the communications
o It can increase a person's social status
o Adopting a way of learning that focuses on one area
And following the negative consequences of Westernization:
- Loss of our national identity
- free Intercourse, such as drugs, free sex, etc.
- moral descent youth
- Rampant fast food
- The emergence of lifestyle Herod (Spree-spree)
- The nature of individualism
So ... even though we had known this westernization well in our lives, we must continue to take the positive side of our course so that Indonesian culture is not dominated by western culture.
