The Dilemma on Our Social Media

Reflecting on what I see as the massive impact of social media, I’m fully convinced to decrease my social media usage and more become independent on my own foot rather than an independent person who keeps using their social media to run away from the problem for the sake of happiness, temporary popularity, and an enormous amount of hoax. I ever experienced when the fake news is six-time faster to spread than the actual news. 

The presidential election that was held in 2019 which encounter two candidates, has polarized people to be two big groups. As known familiar names as ‘Cebong’ and ‘Kampret’. everyone is influenced by the hoax to provoke them to hate each other, having hatred for their opponent’s group. I was drowning back then in the fake news and had more hatred. So I decided to delete my Twitter account -which is the platform I use to get misinformation.
