The government has issued a policy to ease the requirements for domestic and international travel. No antigen or PCR tests required. The requirements for boarding an airplane under the latest regulations are as follows: Transport Minister Budi Karya Sumadi said on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, 

"I believe this policy will be a turning point in revitalizing the transport sector, which will also help revitalize the Indonesian economy." The mitigation decided by the government clearly takes into account the increasingly controlled situation and conditions of the Covid 19 pandemic in Indonesia.

The Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub) has also issued a Circular (SE) directive for conducting domestic travel, namely the 2022 SE56 for air transport. The Ministry of Transport SE refers to the Covid19 Task Force Circular on Travel Regulations for People During the Covid19 Pandemic. 

The 2022 SE number 18 for domestic travel and the 2022 SE number 19 for overseas travel. "The SE will be issued on May 18, 2022 and will take effect today (Wednesday, May 18, 2022)," Budi said. With reference to the 2022 SE56, the following provisions apply to travelers traveling by air to and from regions throughout Indonesia:

Travelers (boosters) who have been vaccinated for the second and third doses do not need to have a negative RTPCR or rapid antigen test. Travelers who have been vaccinated for the first time must have a negative rapid antigen test result sampled within 1 x 24 hours or a negative RTPCR test result sampled within 3 x 24 hours prior to departure. .. 

Travelers with special health conditions or comorbidities that are not vaccinated by travelers are exempt from vaccination, but rapid antigen test results collected within 1x24 hours or RTPCR tests collected within 1x24. Results should be provided 3x24 hours before departure as a travel requirement. The requirement is the attachment of a medical certificate from the state hospital that the person concerned has not and / or cannot participate in the COVID19 vaccination.

Travelers below the age of 6 years are exempt from vaccination necessities and aren't required to reveal bad effects from RT-PCR or fast antigen tests, however have to journey with a journey partner who has met the provisions for vaccination and COVID-19 exam and applies strict fitness protocols.
