Hello everyone. Welcome to my kompasiana. Here my name is Jauharul Arifin and I would like to share a little bit information about one topic that crucial nowadays which is global warming. I think everyone knows what global warming is. So, from the dictionary, the definition of global warming is a gradual increase in the overall temperature of the earth's atmosphere generally attributed to the greenhouse effect caused by increased levels of carbon dioxide, chlorofluorocarbons, and other pollutants.
Global warming occurs when CO2 and other pollution with greenhouse gases collect in the atmosphere and then absorb the sunlight and solar radiation from the sun to the earth and finally, it will be bouncing off the earth surface. It seems like when we are in the area with wall and the top made from glass at noon. We will felt hot inside the room because the sunlight will trap inside. So that is why it was similar to what already happened with our earth.
For the cause of global warming, we can divide become two which are the natural cause and human cause. We can know information from www.ukessays.com  if the human cause is more than natural cause. The earth has been changing year by year also because of modern lifestyle and human activities which are including industrial production, mining, burning fossil fuel, deforestation.
The biggest cause is about industrialization. Because the industry is the largest contributor to CO2 gas. In process of industrialization, it will need a fuel to using the machine and every machine will produce unused gas which is called as CO2. the carbon will move up and collect to the atmosphere. After that the ozone layer becomes hollow that will cause the decrease of ozone work to keep the temperature on earth. After that, the pollution will hold the sunlight and other solar radiation which will go to the outer space.
Nowadays we can see the global warming effect. From the simple one, we felt the air gets hotter right? But, there are big effect by global warming;
Melting glaciers
Rising sea levels
Disruption of habitats
Extreme weather
Depletion of the ozone layer
The occurrence of climate instability
