Lahir di Pulau Tello (Nias), besar di Padang, Surabaya, & Jakarta. Mulai menulis sejak bekerja di majalah komputer CHIP pada tahun 1997 diikuti dengan Majalah Computer Easy, CHIP FOTO-VIDEO digital dan CHIP Online. Sempat menerbitkan majalah CHIP di Malaysia dan Singapore tahun 2002 hingga 2004. Mulai bergabung bersama KOMPAS.com sejak Juli 2007.
