Currently, the structure of the world economy is undergoing rapid transformation along with economic growth. The structure is initially based on natural resources to based human resource , from agriculture era, then to industrial era to information technology.Â
The shift from the agricultural era to the era of technology and industrialization makes the competition between job seekers becomes more and more tighter. Developed countries are beginning to realize that they no longer rely on industry supremacy but must rely on creative human resources, thereby developing a creative economy. Basically, the creative economy is a manifestation of sustainable development efforts and sustainable creativity. Development with creative economy focuses on 3 sectors, namely (1) creative and cultural business field, (2) creative business field, (3) intellectual property rights or copyrights. Creative economy will create healthy competition among creative human resources. A creative person with his ideas and innovation will be able to create jobs for himself and others (Gunaryo, 2015). This is the basis of the creative economy. So the creative economy will be a solution for improving people's welfare.
The impact of technological development play an important role in the creative economy one of which is startup business. Startup Business can be intrerpreted as a new company by utilizing technology, especially internet by combining creative idea. The example of startup business is gojek. Gojek is an application to obtain fast service in the field of transportation and other reservations (food, send goods). Besides, it is able to help people who need additional income. This business can also reduce the unemployment rate. According to Monica Oudang, HR Director GO-JEK Indonesia, 85% of Gojek partners have a level of equivalent of SMP-SMA.Initially this group (junior-high school graduates) was recorded as the highest unemployment group, but now can have a great income from gojek (Kusuma, 2017). In a study conducted by the University of Indonesia's Communication Studies Center (PUSKAKOM) on the benefits of social on-demand applications to workers and the use of corporate services, it was found that the monthly income of the Gojek drivers exceeded the salaries of employees (Firman, 2017). In terms of monthly income, approximately 77 % of Goride drivers earn above the national income minimum Rp1,997,817,00 according to 2016 Statistic National. Meanwhile, 50% of Gocar drivers can earn above the regional minimum income of  DKI Jakarta that is Rp 3,335,750,00-. (Firman, 2017). So, it can be concluded, that gojek is the creative economy  of transportation that can reduce unemployment and improve the welfare of society.
Creative economy also penetrates in the culinary world. The usual variety of dishes will be amazing with creative ideas and creative touches. A variety of existing menus are new with added flavor. For example, meat balls now have a lot of flavor choices, "Bakso Mercon", "Bakso Beranak", "Bakso Kaget" even "Bakso" the size of a soccer ball there. Restaurants of bakso that used to be finally get crowded because of the large selection of types of "bakso". Fried chicken also becomes the target of creative ideas. "Ayam geprak", "ayam geprek", "ayam crusty", "ayam cah", "ayam mercon", makes peoples love culinary. Their income from a small shop becomes increased because it is combined with creativity and innovation in its economic activities. So that welfare becomes increasing.
A rising creative economy is fashion. One of the advantages of Indonesian fashion that can be famous in the international world is Hijab fashion. Creative ideas are poured in simple stitches are able to attract public attention to wear hijab. The old hijab was only dark and rectangular, now becomes colorful with a wide selection of shapes. The lace, the ribbon, the illustrated, fibrous edges of the veil, promote more hijab orders than before. Consequently, many orders for the tailors who eventually join the network of entrepreneurs connections, which initially small scale can grow greater. Many people recruits workers who need jobs. The unemployment rate among women is also reduced.
Therefore, it can be concluded, that the increasing number of creative industries, especially in the field of fashion, culinary, handicrafts, and culture, can increase people's income which in turn give on impact on  the rapid economic growth of the country. If the government can mobilize the potential of various sectors of creative industry, then this can encourage economic growth more rapidly so as to make it as a solution to improve the welfare of the community.
