Records management organizations become increasingly complex to be done in linewith his old organization runs, additions and changes to the organization's process flow,and the many organizations that handle archives transaksidi conventionally notlonger able to meet the various interests of the organization.The original archive is hard to find again, or even lost, the number of copies of recordsthat occurred in the organization, and distribution of the old information within and outsideorganization became the first symptoms need to increase the archival system in the organization.Along with the development of technology, especially information technology complexitydocument management can be facilitated implementation of electronic records management wherecopying, searching, distributing and securing the archive can be integratedand safe. Electronic archive of information search easier and prevent the loss oforiginal document as an electronic archive can be easily distributed to relevant partieswith the interests of documents or archives. In the various laws and regulations infield of archival or document is explicitly stated about the obligation of archives, whichinclude: the obligation to make records or records / documents, regulating or setting,store, maintain, submit, save and melayankan archive / document.These obligations are actually a series of management processesarchives.Archives and records management is a field of management responsible forefficiently and systematically control the creation, distribution, storage,use, maintenance and depreciation records so that records can functionoptimized to support the organization's management process, the process of litigation and legal protectionas well as material responsibility / accountability to related parties (stakeholders)the present and future.
