Poetry: Hope to Feel Again

I miss the pounding of my heart

That beats every time I see you

Your gaze that keeps me locked

And your smile that beats the sweetness of my favorite candy

My silence doesn't mean hate

It's just that my lips can't speak

I can't avoid my heartbeat

And I can't control my smile

You who are shy and I who try to look normal

You who don't stop staring

And I'm the one who always steals glances
