The Common Techniques in Cooking

As a human being, we need food in order to survive. There are many food ingredients available in nature that we can manage. However, the food is not necessarily we can eat directly, we need to cook it first so we can consume the food. Nowadays, there are many cooking techniques that we can do to process our food. Moreover, we have many tribes, races and cultures. The technique of cooking is also different in every region. There are actually many ways to cook food, but these are the most common ways we use in our life, namely frying, boiling, and burning.

Frying is one of the techniques of cooking using oil that aims to reduce moisture content in foods and increase the oil content in foods. We can use the various types of oil, such as oil palm, coconut palm, sesame oil, fish oil, etc. But generally, we use palm oil more often. This is because palm oil is more common in the earth. Almost every day we do this process, but many do not know that not all foods can be fried, because during the process of food temperature frying can be very high, it makes some food become Carcinogenetic, that can be able to trigger cancer. For example, cabbage. Many of people like fried cabbage, although they know this is not good for their body.

Boiling is one of the cooking techniques using water in a certain temperature. In our lives we have often done it, for example boil instant noodles. But there are still many people who do not know how to correct in doing this technique, because different food also will be different technique to retake it. For example, when we want to boil noodles, we do not realize that we do not wait for temperature 100 Celsius degrees, which in this temperature we have a good textured for this food, or sometimes we do not know the right technique of boiling vegetables where we often take it for too long, it makes the nutrients in the vegetables to be reduced.

Burning is one of the techniques in cooking that uses fire, where the food will contact with the coal. This technique is also often done in our life, such as burning chickens, sausages, beef, etc. Usually the most delicious of the results of this dish is the fragrant smell that tempts us. This fragrance comes from the coal that mingled with its cuisine or spices. As with other techniques, this technique also has its own ways and rules in the implementation. For example, we should not burn it too burnt which can make the food be dark black, because if we eat it will risk cancer to our body.

Similar to the daily activities that we do, cooking also has many ways although in general we use the way to fry, boil and burn. However, if we search again to various regions, surely, we will find a variety of techniques in cooking. But whatever the way, we need to know is the function of the technique and also what we cannot do using the technique, because in every cooking technique there are certainly suggestions and restrictions like the three examples above that I have discussed.  It is done for sure to produce a delicious dish for eating.
