"Dreams in the Midst of Void"
Poem by Hanifah Ganeca Arya
In the dusty roads,
Jobs are lost, and hope is unsure.
In the corner of the city, small vendors
Count coins that never seem enough,
Fighting not to drown in hardship.
They who dared to open the door to business,
Though storms come without warning,
They know every step is full of hope,
Facing a world that is sometimes unfair.
They are the true warriors,
Not just for themselves,
But for those who have nothing,
For those who don't understand patience.
When unemployment reigns,
They still stand tall,
With their small goods, unnoticed,
But full of big dreams.
Days continue to run,
But they never give up,
Because behind their efforts,
There's a belief unspoken,
That in every struggle,
There will be a light to guide the way.
