Getting Ready for The Golden Generation of 2045

Indonesia has been experiencing a demographic bonus, also known as a population boom of productive age, since the year 2000. This increase is expected to continue until it peaks in 2045. There are several things that we, as young people, need to prepare for this demographic peak. Getting ready with the skills we need for the present and the future is crucial. Mastery of hard skills like learning foreign languages, gaining more knowledge about technology, and studying data analysis is important. Mastering soft skills like emotional intelligence, communication, and other social skills is also necessary. Life skills, such as problem-solving, critical thinking, and lifelong learning skills, are essential too.

As young individuals with easy and fast access to technology, we should use it to prepare ourselves for the future. It's not acceptable to wait for government orders to make ourselves high-quality human resources. However, we also hope that the government plays a role in providing training facilities and higher education to prepare a truly golden generation.

In short, the role of young people in preparing for the golden generation of 2045 is just as important as the government's role.
