My Lord, my Lady, and everyone that is here. I am Doctor Adlan and today I am going to report the condition of our town over the last few weeks.
As you may already know, there was a mysterious disease, infecting the people in the village of the West. We doctors have been investigating about what cause the disease to come but as a result, we think it was the Jews poisoning our water and it could be the configuration of planets. The priests, the monks, and nuns claimed that it was a Divine madness. The disease also started to infect the people in the East village. While trying to cure the victims, we discovered something. On the day that person is infected, they will more likely die in 5 days. On the first day, the victim will have pain and swellings as big as an egg will appear. On the next three days, the victim will have terrible pain with bleeding and the disease will affect the nervous system. We doctors have been trying to prevent the disease and cure the infected ones.
In the last few weeks, Doctor Rome, Doctor Lin, and I have been investigating about what could cure the victims. Doctor Rome said that by sucking the blood out of the victims using leeches could cure them. He is now trying to cure the people in the West village. As of Doctor Lin, he said that by burning the victims body, it wil kill the bacteria and cure them. But sadly, while trying to cure a victim, he got infected. We tried to cure him with his method and it is a miracle that he managed to survive the disease. That means that this mysterious disease is curable. We still got hope to save the victims.
The disease is spreading really fast. I am sorry to say this but it will more likely to come to the South village, it means us. But do not worry. As I said before, we doctors will try our best to prevent the disease to come and cure the infected ones. Thank you and excuse me.
