Bats are often seen as terrible because they are thought to suck blood, but these animals actually do more good than evil. With over 1200 species of bats in existence, these animals are the second largest number of mammals in the world. When compared, approximately one in five mammals in the world are bats. In addition, bats are also the only mammals that can fly. They have a very important role in controlling the insect population on earth.
According to the book English For FISIP Unit 18, I agree that animals make us less lonely. Especially among those who live alone, a pet could offer social interaction when other people aren't around.
