It is less than an hour left before 2015 comes. Phew! I doubt that time flies at a constant rate.....

As I reflect back all the journey I've been through in 2014, I can't thank God enough for what He has done in my life :)
No, it's not because 2014 has been an easy year for me. In fact,  it has manyyyyy ups and downs.

As I have written before, I moved to NUS after studying a year in HKUST. Initially, it wasn't the choice I would like to make. However, I prayed to God so that He would give me a sign, which was a full scholarship,  if it's His will for me to move. And I got it.

The journey in NUS has been a roller-coaster. Many students have spent four years in Singapore secondary school and junior college before entering university. Therefore, they already have their own clique, making it more difficult to make friends and blend in. The academic life is also not easy. Got only one correct answer out of five in multiple choice quiz. Not being able to get the correct answers for all the questions in exam. I've been through all those things. Despite all the academic challenges, I still have to juggle with co-curricular activities and social life.

Yet, even in the bumpiest road, God is faithful. And He is a responsible Father.

God has given me a family, my cellgroup friends, and I am really grateful for them. He has given me a best friend, one that's brutally honest that her words often slap me in the face. However, she's really looking forward for me to become a better person. He has also given me a group of friends who are always willing to help me in my studies, in a country where everyone is so individualistic and competitive.

In November, a month before final exam period, I took up a new responsibility. I started doing ministry as a cellgroup helper. Then, my final exams were, I thought at that time, quite a mess. Waiting for the result was a heart thumping moment. Once, I regretted committing myself to the ministry and I told my best friend that perhaps I was still not ready yet. I hadn't been successful in taking care of myself, how could I take care of others?

But I always remember her answer.
" There will always be challenges and if you wait until you're ready, you will never start."

And true enough. This semester, again, God has shown His faithfulness. I am still able to secure my scholarship, even my position as a second upper student.

As I take care of His household, I believe that He will surely take care of mine :D
And as I walk in His will in NUS, I believe He will be able to secure my study, my dreams, and my future :)

Alright, here comes the sound of fireworks.

Happy new year 2015!!! :D Have a great year ahead, folks!!!
