Refleksi Eskalasi Rusia-Ukraina

Perang Rusia-Ukraina sudah terjadi selama beberapa hari ini. Korban jiwa di pihak Ukraina pun sudah banyak. Rakyat Rusia pun sudah mulai menderita akibat embargo ekonomi dari negara-negara Barat. Amerika Serikat, Uni Eropa, NATO, dan negara-negara Barat lainnya langsung menjatuhkan berbagai sanksi terhadap Rusia, mulai dari embargo ekonomi, pengeluaran dari keanggotaan olimpiade dan organisasi, hingga pembatasan ekspor-impor.

Saya yakin, sebagian dari kalian merasa ada yang janggal dengan hal ini. Kalian mungkin bertanya-tanya, dimanakah sanksi ketika AS menginvasi Irak, Suriah, Afghanistan, dan Libya? Di manakah sanksi bagi Tiongkok karena diskriminasi terhadap Etnis Uighur/Xinjiang dan terhadap komunitas agama lainnya? Di manakah sanksi terhadap Myanmar atas diskriminasinya terhadap Etnis Rohingnya? Ketika Israel mengusir penduduk Palestina dari Yerusalem Timur dan memborbardir penduduk Gaza, dimanakah suara dunia? Dimana suara dunia atas Perang di Yaman?

Kalian kesal, pusing, heran, mengapa seolah-olah terdapat standar ganda di sini? Same, with me. I feel so sick in this world, where human rights is mixed with politics. You call it human rights only when it is matched with your political agenda, right? Where is the human rights for marginalized people in Yemen, innocent children in Gaza, and wounded mother in Iraq?

I also understand karena kasus-kasus ini, kalian jadi sulit untuk berempati terhadap perang saat ini. Like, world, where does your sound when marginalized people in the Middle East are being bombed and killed? Why do they very fast to condemn Russia, but very late to just say symphaty to the people in another region?

Saya mengerti sekali lagi, kita semua pasti jenuh akan politik ganda di dunia ini. Kita semua pasti tidak ingin terjebak dalam politik ganda ini, kan? Yang kita inginkan adalah berdiri menentang kezaliman, siapapun pelakunya.

Let's not debated about who is right, Russia/Ukraine, and etc etc... Let's just see in the news. Children in Ukraine are being terrored and intimdated, now. Mother in Ukraine now are being afraid about the mortal, military airplane, and rockets, that are flying above their home, just like people of Gaza are afraid of the mortars that are flying above their homes. They're not sending rockets to the other territories, neither they killed their people. They're just innocent people, who enjoyed life, just like us.

When you say you support Ukraine, it doesn't mean you support their supporter politic agenda. When you say no war, it doesn't mean you forgot the warcrime in the middle east. We support the marginalized peope, not some of the sick's political agenda proposed by some countries afar. Kita hanya berdiri atas nama kemanusiaan, kita menolak kezaliman, siapapun dan dimanapun.

Let's support peace in Ukraine, also call for justice in Iraq, Syria, and Palestine. Don't ever forget every single of these countries. Again, we just support the innocent people.

Saya kutip sebuah kalimat dari kitab suci diluar agama saya, tetapi saya rasa ini sangat berkaitan dengan situasi saat ini:

"Whoever kills an innocent person it is as though he has killed all mankind, and whoever saves a life it is as though he has saved all mankind."
