1.A. The reason I choose the period is because I'm very intrigued by the philosophy use in the era whom priorities are "The Free Will of Human" where the artist can write virtually anything that comes in to their mind without being prosecuted by any group of authority namely the church at the time, thus this change allow the writer of that time to view any matters in a different point of view like never before, for example the novel "Paradise Lost" where the writer uses the point of view from the Devil who was once banished from heaven.

B. The type of English used in this period was a combination of Middle English and Early Modern English even though the Early Modern English is more prominent than it's Middle English counter fit.

But as a disclaimer John Milton have stated that the reason he wrote this poem is to 'justify the act of God to man' as he was a religious person.

B. The reason I choose this literary work is that it pretty much sums up the entire Renaissance period, when people of that time are beginning to question God's action.

The core value of Paradise Lost is that it tries to justify the act of god to man when
